NorrSam welcomes early-career researchers with an interest in Sámi and minority questions, as well as Indigenous studies to a colloquium. This event aims to facilitate interactions among researchers from diverse disciplines, providing an opportunity to share experiences.
The colloquium starts with a joint lunch at Restaurant Lingon at 11.30 for on-site participants. The following program will also be accessible for online participation.

13.10-14.30 Guest speakers and discussion
Elsa Reimerson, senior lecturer in Political Science at Umeå University will discuss how her involvment in NorrSam has impacted her research career.
Hanna-Máret Outakoski, senior lecturer in North Sámi, Umeå University has a long experience with fieldwork in Sámi contexts and will will share insights from her expertise.
14.30-14.45 Coffee break
14.45-15.45 NorrSam members briefly present their research with focus on how early-career research can contribute to sustainable societal development.
15.45-16.00 Closing session
17.30 Dinner in Umeå at your own expense. Restaurant details will be annonuced separately.
