This session introduces the basics of the reference management software Zotero.

Content

  • Installing the software and creating an account.
  • Importing references from various sources, including academic databases.
  • Structuring your library.
  • Adding full texts.
  • Using Zotero in Word.
  • Collaborative writing.

Technical information

Instruction will use Microsoft Word and Windows 11. The session primarily focuses on PC usage.

Target Group

Employees and students at Umeå University. The course will be conducted in English.
