As a part of my postdoctoral research, I am currently examining the effects of gender egalitarianism on fertility ideals. The study seeks to understand how individual-level gender egalitarian attitudes affect fertility ideals; and, to also explore the intersection between individual attitudes and country context. The objective of this presentation will be to briefly elaborate on the data and methods utilized for this study and to present some of the preliminary study findings.
