The symposium “Physical and computational tools in Biology" takes place 26 September at Aula Betula (6M building, University Hospital, Umeå University).
This full-day event serves as an exceptional opportunity for scientists specializing in the fields of molecular biology, biochemistry, and structural biology to delve into a wide array of "physical and computational" methods including optical microscopy, cryo-electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, optical tweezers, computer simulations, and bioinformatics.
Invited speakers include Ricardo Henriques from the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência in Portugal, Peter Hinterdorfer from the Johannes Kepler University of Linz in Austria, and Lars-Anders Carlson, Magnus Andersson, and Laura Carroll from Umeå University. These distinguished experts will share their knowledge and insights.
