Abstract: The Archaeological Interactive Report (AIR) is a tool designed to streamline the documentation, management, visualization, and dissemination of archaeological data. Developed collaboratively by DARKLab and INHA, AIR integrates 3DHOP with Omeka S to address challenges in traditional excavation workflows, such as data fragmentation and inaccessibility.
By leveraging a conceptual model built on standards like Dublin Core and CIDOC-CRM, AIR ensures structured metadata and advanced 3D visualization capabilities. The system facilitates dynamic reporting and interaction with excavation data, enhancing collaborative interpretation and decision-making processes.

Case studies from Swedish, Italian and Greek sites prove AIR’s adaptability and utility in diverse archaeological contexts, in both terrestrial and marine environment. Thanks to its modular and semantic-oriented structure, AIR can support multidisciplinary projects.

Its data model is designed to accommodate or interconnect diverse archaeological science data, enabling comprehensive data visualization and archaeological analysis. Additionally, the system’s API exposition allows linking with multiple external data repositories.

The presentation will also discuss the tool's limitations, future development opportunities, and broader implications for archaeology and heritage management.
