Every year, the Umeå Academy of Fine Arts hosts an Open House for the public.
It is a way for us to show the school and give an insight into the art students' education and artistic process. We want to show you all the work that goes into the works that most people only meet in the gallery or in public places but always in their final stages. The artistic work consists of many different parts, practical as well as theoretically and socially through discussions with colleagues and fellow students and the practice looks different for all artists.
With this year’s Open House we want to showcase all of those aspects and invite you to take part in all of them!
