Adriaen Stigter is a second-year master's student in biology at Radboud University in the Netherlands, specializing in water and environment. He is currently conducting his research at UMF, where he studies how anthropogenic changes, such as eutrophication, browning, and climate change, impact fish populations in the Gulf of Bothnia. Using Generalized Additive Models and multivariate analysis on long-term fisheries data, he works on identifying trends in fish populations and assessing the influence of different anthropogenic stressors.
