Petter Stoor from the Department of Epidemiology and Global Health is one of the invited spekaers. He says that it is an honor to be invited to give a presentation on this important topic. Suicide is disproportionately affecting many Indigenous people across the globe. Although the situation in Sápmi is better than most other places it is still an issue of much concern. In Petters talk he will focus on suicide prevention strategies and initiatives among Sámi in the Nordic countries.
