In this Humlab Share, we will present a geographical visualization of linguistic landscapes in Northern Sweden. The digital map is a result of the research project The Language of Placemaking, and includes over 6 000 photos of 5 places (Jokkmokk, Pajala, Sorsele, Umeå and Kramfors). This Humlab Share will also give you the opportunity to navigate in linguistic landscapes, reflect upon modes of visualization of research data, and explore new ways of approaching multilingualism and placemaking.
