Our group at the Department of Radiation Sciences, Faculty of Medicine at Umeå University is looking into problems of medical image de-noising and restoration for improved diagnostic and treatment purposes. The problem at its essence is multidisciplinary in nature requiring the collaboration of researchers working on a wide variety of imaging equipment, algorithms, and applications. This is where you come in!
We are inviting researchers and research students interested in image processing, ML, DL and computer vision, to join our kaggle challenge available here and submit an abstract with your proposed solution for MRI image de-noising in order to join us as an active participant of the Hackathon day. The day will include an opportunity to present your solution, listen to others, and enhance it in teams with other participants.
