In the undemanding dance, you can learn to find the pleasure and joy of moving in a way that feels good, without requirements that it has to look in a certain way. Curiously and playfully, we explore your own, unique movement and you are encouraged to challenge yourself. Dance for health is a researched-based method, you can dance for your mental and physical health.
The activity is free of charge and no previous experience is required. You have to sign up for registration. Maximum 20 participants. The activity is given in Swedish/English. Instructor: Sofia Johansson, instructor Dance for health.
The activity is a part of Health on campus.
How does it work?
We move and dance to music. The dance includes warm-up, dancing and relaxation. If you have never danced before, you are not alone. You can wear whatever clothes you want, as long as you enjoy and feel comfortable. Expect to get a little sweaty.
