Researchers and doctoral students are welcome to a scientific dialogue on Climate Change Challenges and Ways Forward for Land Use.
In 2021 and 2022, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will present its sixth assessment report, and The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) offers a webinar to discuss the current scientific knowledge about climate change in a series of conversations. The first one sets its focus on future land use, and takes place in the morning, 8:45 CET, of October 18, 2021.
The introduction will include a brief presentation of the sixth IPCC assessment report AR6 Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis. Then we will hear four keynote presentations, followed by a panel discussion and an open floor discussion, led by moderator Ingrid Öborn, Professor at the Department of Crop Production Ecology, SLU.
