Daily activities among older people in Europe during the Covid-19 pandemic – comparisons between countries in Europe.
Welcome to the seminar with Gunnar Malmberg (Speaker), Jenny Olofsson, Filip Fors Connolly, Maria Josefsson, Erling Häggström Gunfridsson.
In the seminar, a summary of papers on daily activities during the COVID-19 pandemic is presented. The research is part of the Horizon 2020 project SHARE-COVID-19 and based on more than 40 000 telephone interviews carried out in 28 European countries during the pandemic. The research address how people over age 50 in countries with different restriction policies and welfare models adjusted their daily activities and how reduction in activities influenced loneliness and mental health.
