During Autumn Light 2024, local artists, art students, and community actors will light up the November darkness with light installations and artworks around Umeå city center.
14 students from the second year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the Art Academy of Umeå University are participating with their works. Based on their individual artistic practices, the students have had the opportunity to engage in dialogue with the urban space, the history of the city and the land, and its social choreography. Their participation in Autumn Light is part of the course Individual Artistic Work, C.

Stefanie Almqvist, Vilgot Björkman, Sebastian Blind, Christine Chu, Adam Engström, Evelina Lindqvist Hedlund, Sandra Lundh, My Maanmies, Isabelle Nilsson, Karin Rapp, Linnéa Romeling, Arvid Snidare, Lulu Staaf, and Amanda Åhlund.

The inauguration ceremony will take place 25 October at 17:00 at Rådhustorget in Umeå.
The exhibition runs from 25 October to 15 November 2024.
