Contents

Knowledge and understanding
-show knowledge of the selected project scientific basis and insight into current research and development work
-show understanding of the societal benefits of the project

Skills and Abilities
- demonstrate the ability to independently plan and implement a major project in both an engineering and scientific manner within given economic and time frameworks,
- demonstrate the ability to independently integrate knowledge, current research and development work within the selected project area

Judgement and approach
- demonstrate the ability to in writing and and orally, critically evaluate the results and identify strengths and weaknesses and additional needs for knowledge
- independently identify relevant sources of information, perform information searches, evaluate the relevance of the information and use correct reference management

Required Knowledge

University: Introductory Course in Medicine, 5 hp, Radiation Biology and
Radiation Protection, 7.5 hp, Magnetic Resonance and Ultrasound Imaging 7.5 hp, Physics of X-Rays, 7.5 hp, Physics of Nuclear Medicine 7.5 hp, Applied Dosimetry 5 hp, and Radiation therapy 5 hp, or corresponding. Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English A/5. Where the language of instruction is Swedish, applicants must prove proficiency in Swedish to the level required for basic eligibility for higher studies.
