Contents
The goals of this course are to obtain understanding of absorption of drug molecules across biological membranes (e.g. skin, lung and intestinal epithelia) and the principles and design of drug formulations (e.g. tablets, suspensions and inhalation powders) and their properties. Methods for physico-chemical characterization of drug molecules and formulations will also be presented.
Required Knowledge
Biophysical Chemistry, Thermodynamics (7.5 ECTS, 5KE034) or the equivalent.
