Repetition of the fundamental principles of mechanics, accelerated reference systems, orientation on non-linear systems and chaos, gravitation, variational principles, Lagrange´s and Hamilton´s equations, three dimensional motion of rigid bodies, coupled oscillations.
Required Knowledge
Mathematical Methods of Physics 15 credits (alternatively Differential Equations 7,5 credits and Calculus in Several Variables 7,5 credits) or equivalent. Classical Mechanics 9 credits or equivalent.
