Contents
The course deals with renewable fuels such as forest products, peat, agro and waste fuels and fossil fuels such as coal, oil, natural gas and uranium. For each fuels the production methods, fuel properties, utilisation, environmental effects and future potential are discussed. During the course the biomass growth and uptake of nutrients are studied in laboratory work.
