Contents
The aim of the course is that the student will obtain knowledge about how to design an embedded system running Linux.
The course deals with how to analyze the hardware in the system so that the correct configuration can be installed. A development environment is created and used to design some practical applications.
Required Knowledge
Electronics 45 ECTS of which Computer engineering I, 7.5 ECTS and Linux development environment, 7.5 ECTS or Computing science 30 ECTS of which C programming and unix, 7.5 ECTS, Computer engineering, 7.5 ECTS and Embedded systems, 7.5 ECTS or equivalent.
Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English A (IELTS (Academic) with a minimum overall score of 5.5 and no individual score below 5.0. TOEFL PBT (Paper-based Test) with a minimum total score of 530 and a minimum TWE score of 4.
TOEFL iBT (Internet-based Test) with a minimum total score of 72 and a minimum score of 17 on the Writing Section).
Where the language of instruction is Swedish, applicants must prove proficiency in Swedish to the level required for basic eligibility for higher studies.
