The goal of the course is to provide students with such skills that they can develop Linux applications that communicate with standard PC-hardware or with specially designed hardware. The course deals with writing and testing device drivers for Linux. The drivers are then tested by simple Linux applications with graphical user interface.
Required Knowledge
Computer engineering I, 7.5 ECTS, Programming and UNIX for engineers, 7.5 ECTS or Linux Development Environment, 7.5 ECTS or equal.
