The course deals with gender and feminist perspectives on welfare. It consists of two modules. This will be followed by an analysis of the concept of citizenship from a feminist perspective. Finally, work and the family’s importance for different models of sustenance will be examined. The different themes will be examined using theoretical categories such as sex, class, ethnicity, sexuality and age as well as comparatively over time and place.
