Contents

Equal opportunities are key objectives for the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. The scope of equal opportunities is that employees, students and applicants shall be welcomed and have the same opportunities regardless of sex, sexual orientation, transgender identity or expression, disability, ethnicity, age, religion or other belief. After introducing the course an overview will be made of relevant legislation and documents concerning internal governing documents and fundamental values of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Master suppression techniques are also introduced. The participants of the course perform individual written assignments and a web-based quiz.  
 

Expected learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student shall:
• Be familiar with relevant legislation.
• Be familiar with and understand the internal governing documents of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
• Be familiar with and understand the fundamental values of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
• Be familiar with and understand master suppression techniques.

Required Knowledge

Participation in this contracted education course is determined by SLU, our client. Contracted education has the same requirements for study and examination as the standard university education. Participants receive academic credits and, if they have or later attain the current level, these credits are eligible within their academic degree.

Form of instruction

The course is taught in English and entirely through an electronic Learning Management System (Moodle). This is where the participants take part in lectures, the quiz, different tasks and access other educational materials at their own pace. The participants submit their written assignments via the Moodle and receive feedback through the system.
 

Examination modes

Examination takes place in two parts: the first is by completing a quiz, the second by completing written assignments.

Examination is in total the completion of written assignments and a quiz. For both parts the grades are Fail (U) or Pass (G). For the entire course, the grades are Fail (U) or Pass (G).
