Contents

Taking the usability and accessibility in web design as a starting point the course objectives is to develop a more profound knowledge of planning, creating and administrating websites used in learning environments. Course content: -In-depth studies of technology -Usability, user centred design -Usability testing -Accessibility e.g. how to adapt websites to people with functional disabilities as well as accessibility issues for adapting websites to mobile units -Project work -Orientation about new technique After the course the student will be able to: -value and discuss web development using prevailing guidelines -analyse and evaluate websites from a usability and accessibility perspective -apply guidelines about usability in web development -apply guidelines about accessibility in web development -identify and describe possibilities to use the web as tool for learning
