Contents

This course presents theoretical and practical foundations for different ways of working in and understanding the artistic field of photography as a scene and practice with a critical eye. During the course students work independently and in groups under supervision.

Expected learning outcomes

After completing the course, the student should be able to, within the artistic field of photography as a stage and practice with a critical eye, be able to

-Explain practical and theoretical foundations
-Work with different methods and processes
-Present an artistic work produced during the course in a seminar and / or in an exhibition.
-Be able to describe one's own work processes orally and/or in writing

General entry requirements

Form of instruction

The course is conducted in the form of lessons, seminars and individual work under supervision. The artistic design work carried out during the course is supervised, discussed and reported in seminars and group supervision.
Special written material may be distributed during the course.

Examination modes

The student is examined continuously during the course and through assessment of the presentation of a case developed during the course where a project on public art is presented.

The course is graded Pass or Fail. For students who have not passed the regular examination, another examination is organized within three months and a follow-up examination within one year.
