Contents

In the course theoretical and practical foundations within the artistic field performance and social interactions are presented. During the course the student will, under guidance, produce his/her own artistic performative work.

Expected learning outcomes

After completing the course the student should, within the artistic field performance and fine art, be able to:

  • identify practical and theoretical foundations
  • work with different methods and processes
  • present an artistic piece of work in seminar and exhibition formats
  • oral or written description of your own working processes.

Required Knowledge

Apart from basic eligibility and English B/6 the applicant needs to have experience of artistic practice which is documented with between 3-5 individual samples of work. Form of instruction

The course is conducted in the form of classes, seminars and individual work under guidance. In seminars and in group tutorials the artistic work is presented and discussed.

Examination modes

The course is examined partly through seminars and partly through oral or written presentation of your own artistic work. For students who do not pass the course another chance for examination can be arranged within three months, and a summary examination within a year.

For this course the mark Pass with Distinction, Pass or Fail is used.

Other regulations

Language of instruction is Swedish provided that the teacher and all participants are Swedish-speaking, if not the course will be held in English.
