This course gives an introduction to Swedish law. The first part presents the legislative process and the legal institutions. It also introduces the different sources of law and the legal methods, thus giving a general idea of the Swedish legal system. The second part focuses on a few, central fields of law. This latter part aims at deepening the understanding of the first part, as well as presenting some central notions of the chosen fields of substantial law.

Students applying for courses within a double degree exchange agreement, within the departments own agreements will be given first priority. Then will - in turn - candidates within the departments own agreements, faculty agreements, central exchange agreements and other departmental agreements be selected.
