This course studies the international economic and social development from the prehistoric time to the present day. In focus are the altering conditions, economic as well as political, for maintenance, production, reproduction, trade, migration and capital flows in different economic-political systems
The course is open to foreign and Swedish students with interest in gaining basic understanding and insight in the international economic history development. A good knowledge of the English language and general eligibility for university education are required.

Students applying for courses within a double degree exchange agreement, within the departments own agreements will be given first priority. Then will - in turn - candidates within the departments own agreements, faculty agreements, central exchange agreements and other departmental agreements be selected.
