About the course

In this course, you, as a student with Swedish as a second language, will further develop your language skills, focusing on preparing for future academic studies in Swedish. By completing the course, you will be qualified for programs and courses where Swedish is the language of instruction.

Required Knowledge

General entry requirements with the exception of requirements in Swedish. Univ: at least 22.5 ECTS from the Intensive Course in Swedish: Continuation Course, which includes the modules Written proficiency and grammar, Oral production and pronunciation and Reading comprehension, or equivalent from another university. Contact the Department of Language Studies (studievagledare.sprakstudier@umu.se) for an assessment of prior learning.

Selection

Students applying for courses within a double degree exchange agreement, within the departments own agreements will be given first priority. Then will - in turn - candidates within the departments own agreements, faculty agreements, central exchange agreements and other departmental agreements be selected.
