The aim of the course is to provide a theoretical underpinning of the techniques used in functional genomics, i.e. a large-scale analysis of the function of different gene products within an organism. Insights will be given into the new information that will be generated from whole genome analysis. The course will cover the following concepts: genomics, proteomics and metabolomics.

90 ECTS credits including courses in genetics 15 ECTS credits, molecular genetics 15 ECTS credits, as well as immunology or plant cell and molecular biology 15 ECTS credits. Swedish for basic eligibility for higher education programmes and English B/6. Requirements for Swedish only apply if the course is held in Swedish.
Selection
Students applying for courses within a double degree exchange agreement, within the departments own agreements will be given first priority. Then will - in turn - candidates within the departments own agreements, faculty agreements, central exchange agreements and other departmental agreements be selected.
