About the course

The course provides an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge on a research question chosen by the student. Writing a bachelor thesis will improve the theoretical and analytical skills needed to work as an economist, including the ability to formulate a research question. The thesis is to be presented and discussed at a public seminar at the end of the course.

Required Knowledge

75 credits in economics whereof 15 credits bachelor courses (G2F), and 15 credits method courses (for example statistics or mathematics). Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

Selection

Students applying for courses within a double degree exchange agreement, within the departments own agreements will be given first priority. Then will - in turn - candidates within the departments own agreements, faculty agreements, central exchange agreements and other departmental agreements be selected.
