Work and Organizational Psychology for the Masters Programme in Sports Psychology

About the course
The course will provide an in-depth knowledge of human interaction with the organizational and psychosocial environment. Its aim is to shed light on the field of knowledge and application of psychology in working life and in sports organizations. Students will acquire knowledge of different ways of investigating, analyzing and understanding organizations with a special focus on psychosocial work environment (which also includes eg organizational culture), organizational interventions, leadership and bullying and abusive discrimination. The pedagogical structure of the course is based on a student-active perspective, which means that the students have a great deal of personal responsibility for their learning and have a great deal of influence over the work on the course. To achieve the expected study results, the students work together in teams. With the help of lectures, workshops and their own literature search in databases, the students produce PM (written work with a scientific basis) in teams and a lecture. Each team has a supervisor who supervises and examines the PM and the lecture.
