About the course
The course aims to provide knowledge about different approaches to improved performance in sports, and about applied work in sports organizations. The course begins with theories, models and concepts in the field of performance and well-being. The student receives training in assessment, development and implementation of psychoeducation. The focus is on supporting individuals to maximize their performance and to optimize health and well-being. The student learns the importance of an individualized approach to improved performance, which suits both the performance context and life in general. The course will especially shed light on work with heterogeneous populations where people with different backgrounds are included. The student will also gain knowledge about professional work in different sports organizations to achieve different types of performance outcomes.
