The course covers optical, inductive, capacitive and acoustic methods for measurement of properties like length, position, thickness and displacement, as well as determining electrical and dielectrical material properties. A large part of the course consists of compulsory experimental projects.
90 credits including Waves and Optics, Quantum Physics and Physical Measurement Techniques, or equivalent. Proficiency in English and Swedish equivalent to the level required for basic eligibility for higher studies. Requirements for Swedish only apply if the course is held in Swedish.
