About the course

This course is the perfect opportunity for you to gain practical skills in the rapidly growing field of machine learning. With 7.5 credits, this course covers the fundamental concepts and techniques of machine learning using the R programming language. By the end of the course, you will have a foundation in machine learning and be able to apply these skills to real-world problems. If you are interested in data-driven methods for predicting or decision-making, then this course is for you.

Machine learning with R, part 1, is running at 50% study pace and is given in English. After this course you can take the course Machine learning with R, part 2.

In order to read this course, you must have access to a computer to install and run R on.

Outline for distance course

The course includes mandatory meetings in connection to examination. All these meetings are held in Zoom. Other, non-mandatory, meetings in connection to lectures etc are also held in Zoom. The number of meetings are preliminary and can be adjusted when booking the schedule.
