About the course

In the course, students will plan a cognitive science project implemented with a supervisor at a company, organization or within a research project. Students will apply knowledge and skills acquired in previous courses on issues related to cognitive science.

The project should have a specific contact person and should be done in collaboration with the employees of the company / organization / research project. Students shall during the time of the project maintain individual documentation which is then used as a basis for their final presentation. The individual documentation shall be submitted to the course leader.

This course contains occasions that are included in a degree programme at Umeå university and applies only to those of you who are admitted to the programme. You will receive information about application times and what applies to you from your institution.

Required Knowledge

Admission to the course requires at least 15 credits cognitive science at advanced level including the course Scientific perspectives and research design, 7.5 credits, or equivalent. There may be additional requirements depending on the nature of the project.
