Family Treatment in Theory and Practice for the Masters Programme in Sports Psychology

About the course
The aim of the course is for students to acquire knowledge of family processes at both theoretical and applied level. Initially, students are allowed to work with theoretical elements, both based on previous competence and in relation to various issues and contexts. The course then focuses mainly on different salutogenic and pathogenic processes in families, methods for investigation and assessment, recommendations for interventions and different research perspectives in family treatment. Important themes are aspects of power, mental illness and ethics. Students will also be involved in practical activities.
