About the course

The purpose of the course is for students to acquire basic knowledge in developmental psychology. The course focuses mainly on the development of infants to teens from different perspectives, including biological, cognitive, cross-cultural, and socio-emotional aspects. Genetic, environmental, gender, aging and social contextual influences on development will also be discussed. The course also covers different research perspectives and methods of study in the field of developmental psychology.
