About the course
The course aims to analyze and problematize how society should be organized and managed for sustainable development in the Arctic, and to deepen the knowledge in political science perspectives on environmental and natural resource management. Policies are analyzed at national, EU and global level focusing on implementing processes. The course provides skills and knowledge for work at various administrative levels in Sweden and internationally and prepares for further study at postgraduate level.

90 credits in the main area Political Science or Peace and Conflict Studies or equivalent, including a thesis 15 credits, or equivalent through another education and work experience in the field. Proficiency in Swedish to the level required for basic eligibility for higher studies and English equivalent to Swedish Upper Secondary course English A/6. Proficiency in Swedish only required where the language of instruction is Swedish.
