The course is given term 2 within the Master's programme in Fine Arts and builds on the course Artistic work in today's society, A given during the first term.
The course deals with preconditions and opportunities of art and artistic work in today's society. Focus is placed on economic and practical conditions for artistic work.
This course contains occasions that are included in a degree programme at Umeå university and applies only to those of you who are admitted to the programme. You will receive information about application times and what applies to you from your institution.
Participation in the course assumes that the student is admitted to the Master's programme in Fine Arts at Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, Umeå University, and has obtained the grade Pass in at least 25,5 credits of the courses offered in the first term of the programme.
