About the course

The course aims to expand the basic orientation in the subject of architecture by examining the concepts of scale, structure and texture in relation to the concepts of space, object and body. Through experiments, project-based teaching and theoretical reflection, methods are developed to synthesize practical and theoretical knowledge, as well as to investigate space and structure through sketching processes. Furthermore, the course brings together construction and materials with rooms and concepts. In the course, skills and tools such as digital and analog sketching, drawing and modeling are developed, as well as methods for documenting and compiling the student's own work digitally.
