Each author prepares a PowerPoint presentation to match a 15 min oral presentation.
Upload your presentation here, on June 12 at latest: ESPLAT 2023 - Conference presentations Make sure to upload your presentation in the folder of your designated session.
It is also mandatory to bring your own PowerPoint presentation on a USB-stick as a backup.
Description of the session
The authors present their talks in the order that is described in the program
Each presentation is given 15 min
After each presentation there will be ca 5 min for questions
Poster presentations
Preparations:
Each author prepares a 5-min “brief presentation” of their poster.
Prepare and bring a poster of size A0 (84.1x118.9 cm), A1 (59.4x84.1cm)
The poster should be put up on assigned place at latest by June 15 at 12.00
Description of the session:
First five authors present their posters, 25 min (5 min per poster)
Open interactive phase for 20 minutes
The remaining five authors present their posters, 25 min (5 min per poster)
A final open interactive phase, 20 min
Discussions
Preparation:
The organiser/author prepares a short 5 min introduction to the topic for discussion, together with a chosen number of suitable questions to discuss
If required for the discussion, the author sends the questions to the discussants a week before the conference.

Description of the session:
The organiser/author/possibly together with invited discussants, shortly introduces the topic and gives a framework for the discussion, 5-10 min
The topic is discussed, 40 min
The session is summarized by the organizer/author, 5-10 min
Workshop
Preparation:
The organizer/main author prepares the workshop
The organizer arranges necessary details such as actors and material for the workshop
Description of the session:
The organizer gives an introduction to the workshop, 5 min
The organizer shows the chosen method, 15 min
The participants are invited to ask questions, 10 min
The participants get a chance to try the method, 20 min
Final discussion, 10 min
Sandpit-discussion
Preparation:
The organizer/main author prepares the sandpit including an introduction and getting in contact with interested participants
The organizer sends out material to participants (If needed)
Description of the session:
The organizer/min author gives an introduction to the topic, 10 min
Agreeing on common language using smart devices, 10 min
Sharing an understanding of the problem, 20-25 min
Break-out sessions focusing on the problem, 20-25 min
Turning sandpit outputs into a research project/conclusion, 15 minutes
