We are teaching at Bachelors levels in plant physiology and plant molecular biology and we organize our own courses at Masters and PhD levels.
The world is facing to major problems, the global warming and the emerging energy crisis. Plant productivity play a major role, at least for the forthcoming 50 years, in both these areas. At our courses the students will learn, not only about plants in general but also specifically how to increase productivity, especially in trees, by molecular engineering and modern growth managements. We also are involved in programmes aiming at increasing the knowledge about alternative energy sources like production of hydrogen and artificial photosynthesis.
