The department offers a web based basic course in modern cell biology and biochemistry, "Molecules of Life", and the summer course "Biomedical experimental methods".
Molecules of Life
The course is completely web-based and aim to give basic knowledge in modern cell biology and biochemistry. It also explains mechanisms behind diseases such as cancer, and is directed towards high school teachers, science journalists and others that want to increase their knowledge in cell biology and biochemistry.
Biomedical experimental methods
During the course the student perform an experiment using biomedical methods in one of the department's research groups, under supervision of an experienced researcher.
