In Education as a scientific discipline, we study various aspects of upbringing, socialization, education, teaching and learning. This means that we conduct research on, for example, didactic processes and evaluation; gender and power; democracy and integration; leadership and reflection; digital inclusion and technology-rich environments; disability and inclusion-processes; upbringing in sport and movement contexts; in the public, private, and non-profit sector.
Our research is conducted primarily within one of the research areas listed below.
Research Areas
There are six research areas at the department, each supervised by a research area leader. In each research area, the researchers, doctoral students and teachers at the department who share the same research focus come together and meet regularly.
