Umeå University has been appointed a partner in an EU-funded AI research program totaling EUR 50 million, over SEK 500 million, to develop artificial intelligence that interacts with humans.
The aim is to develop the scientific basis and the technological breakthroughs needed for artificial intelligence to be designed to benefit both people and society and to comply with European ethical values and social, cultural, legal and political norms.
