The department is responsible for education within a number of biomedical programs, offers degree projects and a high-quality education at doctoral level.
The Department of Clinical Microbiology has a significant educational assignment within the medical program, the dental program, the biomedicine program, the nursing program and the biomedical analyst program. The teaching is divided between the teachers in the subject areas of virology, clinical bacteriology, infectious diseases, immunology and clinical immunology based on their subject competence.
