It's graduation week at the Arts Campus by the Umeälven. The inspiring environment is filled with events and exhibitions during this time, and there is also a restaurant and library. On this page we try to give an overview of all the exciting things happening, so that you will feel warmly welcomed to the Umeå University Arts Campus.
The Arts Campus right by the Umeälven is framed by exciting architecture and brings Umeå University's creative programs together with a museum, science center, restaurant, gallery and library. Together, these form a unique creative gathering place for design, architecture and art. It houses the university's own museum - Bildmuseet - and Umeå University's science center - Curiosum - the incubator for creative industries eXpression Umeå, interdisciplinary UmArts, which is a research center for architecture, design and art, as well as Umeå School of Architecture (UMA), Umeå Institute of Design (UID) and Umeå academy of Fine Arts.

Degree exhibition of the Master students in Fine Arts "After tomorrow at at sunrise". The degree show at Bildmuseet is the culmination of a period of intensive work, research, and discussion. Read more at Bildmuseet.

Friday, 24 May – 18 August during Bildmuseets ordinary opening hours Wednesday-Sunday at 12:00-17:00.

Umeå Institute of Design have a live stream called UID24 with live on-stage grad project pitches spanning the width of the industrial design discipline, as well as keynote addresses from our invited guest speakers. Read more and see streams here.
Bildmuseet is one of Sweden’s foremost venues for international contemporary art, a part of Umeå University and the public heart of its Arts campus. On seven floors of striking architecture, the fields of Art, Humanities and Science combine to consider key issues of our time.
