Background
SOLH serves as a central entry point for support with ideas and international collaboration projects in health, care, and welfare. The future of health, care, and welfare requires new ideas that address the challenges faced by these sectors. This could involve new products and services for everything from prevention and diagnostics to treatment and patient care.
A new idea or invention always stems from a recognized challenge and the need for a new solution. It may be an idea that makes daily work easier for healthcare or social care staff or a solution that contributes to better care for patients or service users.
There are many examples of creative solutions and ideas that streamline and simplify work for employees, ultimately giving citizens better opportunities to live a good life. However, many ideas never gain recognition or fail to be implemented in practice. If they do materialize, they often remain as clever solutions within a single clinic or department.
