How to pursue AI management in practice.
AI management is well-established and familiar to scholars and practitioners alike. However, it is also vague, with fragmented and nascent theorizing with few recommendations for how to pursue AI management in practice.
We explore AI management as a resource developed and used in various organizational contexts – from small to medium-sized enterprises, through large corporations, to societal impact, and from creating effective organizations to a resilient society.
The Focus Area AI Management is part of TAIGA, and the theme is built around the TripleED, an international interdisciplinary research group and profile at Umeå School of Business and Economics and Statistics, USBE. TripleED investigates decision-making and organizing in extreme contexts.
AI Management is also built around Swedish Center for Digital Innovation, SCDI, research environments with scholars from the University of Gothenburg, Umeå University and Stockholm School of Economics.
The AI Management focus area is coordinated by Jonny Holmström, professor and founder of the Swedish Center for Digital Innovation, and Markus Hällgren, Professor at Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics (USBE). He is focusing on management and organization.
