Access to data from NSDD

The Northern Sweden Diet Database (DIETVIP and DIETMON) is a validated data collection originating from the Västerbotten Intervention Programme, VIP, and the MONICA screenings. It includes a large number of calculated nutrition variables.

Access to dietary data

The following documents should be sent to the Section of Biobank and Registry Support.

Application for data from NSDD

With Edusign (All employees of Umeå University have access to Edusign):
Send a Word version without signature to info.brs@umu.se
We will contact you later for the signature.

Without Edusign:
Send both these documents to info.brs@umu.se
- A Word version without signature
- A scanned pdf version with signature

Send the research plan together with the application.

The application to, and approval from, the ethical review board.

The request forms for data can be sent beforehand.
